Liverpool have agreed a British Record £125m fee with Newcastle United for the transfer of Alexander Isak to Merseyside.
The Swedish striker, 25 will sign a six year deal with the Premier League champions as he finally gets his request to leave St. James Park after a protracted transfer saga.
The move will bring an end to a three year association with Newcastle United for the Isak who joined Newcastle United from Real Sociedad in 2022 and has gone on to become one of the most potent strikers in the Premier League.
He is expected to compete for a starting spot with Hugo Ekitike, the Frenchman who joined Liverpool from Eintrancht Frankfurt in Germany following earlier failed bids from Liverpool to sign him from Newcastle United this summer.
